check_drivesize - unrecognised option 'MaxWarnUsed'

This forum was archived to /woltlab and is now in read-only mode.
  • When I execute the check_drivesize script via NRPE, I get the following error:

    0> check_nrpe -H 10.100.70.209 -c check_drivesize -a drive=C MaxWarnUsed=80>#/p###

    Invalid command line: unrecognised option 'MaxWarnUsed=80%'

    In the command section of check_drivesize this command "MaxWarnUsed" is explicitly mentioned, however, why is it not working?

  • No, this is not working at all :(

    130> check_nrpe -H 10.100.70.209 -c check_drivesize -a "crit=free<10%" drive=c

    Exception processing request: Request command contained illegal metachars!

    3> check_nrpe -H 10.100.70.209 -c check_drivesize -a crit=free<10% drive=c:

    -sh: 10%: No such file or directory

  • Ok, so we can use the latest documentation for it: http://docs.nsclient.org/refer…heckDisk/#check_drivesize

    I cannot see any MaxWarnUsed reference there, where did you get that example from?

  • Maybe I found it:

    check_nrpe -H 10.100.70.209 -c CheckDriveSize -a Drive=c MaxWarn=50 MaxCrit=70 ShowAll=long

    WARNING warning(c:: Total: 69.899GB - Used: 40.711GB (59%) - Free: 29.189GB (41%))|'c: used'=40.7105GB;34.9497;48.92958;0;69.89941 'c: used %'=58%;50;70;0;100

    I think it does not like the % character
