Unable to Access ./Icingaweb2/setup

  • My busy developer friends,
I have been attempting to install Icinga2 following the official Icinga2 documentation Installing-icinga2 and GitHub - IcingnaWeb2 Guide for sometime now and seem to run into one problem or another no matter how I go about it. Currently, I feel I am 95% there but I may need a little help getting over the last 5%.

I went through a similar thread Icinga2 and Icinga web 2 installation of RHEL 6 in this forum already to see if I might find my answers there, but no cigar.
I am running MySQL and the curl command ran without issue.

    1. rpm --import http://packages.icinga.org/icinga.key
    2. curl -o /etc/yum.repos.d/ICINGA-release.repo http://packages.icinga.org/epel/ICINGA-release.repo
    3. yum makecache

I am able to create and view tokens... however, I am unable to load ./icingaweb2/setup
    The Error is

    My MySQL DB's are

My current environment is Centos 6.8 as a vmware guest

  • Hi,

I guess it's the webserver which is not responding. Things you might try:

    * Check whether the webserver is running
    * Ensure that port 80 (or whichever port you're using) on the machine the webserver is running on is reachable

  • Seems to work fine.

Some more questions to isolate the issue:

    • Where did you get the error message "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED" from?
    • What are the last few lines of /var/log/httpd/error_log after you've tried to access Icinga Web 2?
    • What does your webserver configuration for Icinga Web 2 look like? (On CentOs this is located in /etc/httpd/conf.d/)
