VMware communication failed after changing host configuration

And again me,

since I was told in Analyze Configuration to select "Contact Check_MK agent and all enabled datasource programs" in the configuration of the VMware hosts, I get the following error message.


When checking the hosts I could not find any errors, the connection to all machines is still established, services can be fetched by clicking on “Live Scan”.

@TheLucKy answered a question a while ago that went in the same direction, but that’s not really the solution, especially if check_mk explains in the “analyze configuration” section how to change the configuration, is it?

Have you tried to recreate the host or make a clone with the same IP and go for the suggested config of the analiyze feature?
