NAGIOS HPE Traps not traduced

Hello,

I need to monitor ProLiant DL380 Gen10 through ILO 5.
Then I downloaded the upd11.20mib.tar.gz MIBS from the HPE Systems Insight Manager

https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04272529

When proceeding to unplug one of the electical wire on the server, some traps are not traduced and appear like this :

Health Status Array Change occurred (11020): A change in the health status of the server has occurred, the status is now Hex-02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02

I have declared the following MIBS in /etc/snmp/snmptt.ini after having converted them.
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqfca
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqhlth
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqhos
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqhost
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqida
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqide
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqiscsi
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqnic
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqscsi
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqsinfo
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqsm2
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqstdeq
/etc/snmp/snmptt.conf.cpqstsys

What needs to be done in order to traduced the trap 11020 ?

Thanks for you return.

Iā€™d doubt that check_snmp will respect this location per default. Try to use ā€œ-m ...ā€ instead (or execute check_snmp -h or take a look at the documentation)

There are many MIBs that does not convert the whole SNMP Trap. This needs to be done by the application, but snmptt is not designed to.

After lot of disappointing additional bad experiences we decided to get rid of SNMP Traps at all and use e.g. check_ilo2_health for iLO.
