Active check email not forwarding

hi all,
what I try to do is to get into an email-account through checkmk active check “check email” and receive the mails sent to the account, aswell as an error event in the service board.
Now, the email service notices the mails, but does not forward them properly. also the service is permanently in an “ok” state, which I am not sure of how to configure.
is there a way to manage both problems within this one service?
