I am running Icinga version 1.8.3 and I am using the NagiosQL for managing the services.
Is there a way how I can hide specific services just for one user?
It was installed via source, just found the tar.gz file on the server.
I think they used rpm when they installed it, but i`m not 100% sure.
Yes, I`ve tried that one also, but it doesn`t let me in the system. I think the root password was changed right after the installation. That`s why I want to find a way to create a new user or reset the root.
I see all services and host, but I want to see only specific services.
For example I want to see only the Veeam Backup alerts with that user.
Yes, I`ve read it already and followed the guidance, but it didn`t work as I thought it will.
I have the Icinga-web version 1.8.4 installed, but the username and password I have been provided are not working and I cannot log into it.
Is there a way how I can reset the password for the icinga-web or to create a new user for it?
I am new to Icinga. I am running version 1.8.4 with Classic UI.
I need to set a user to see only specific services and host when he logs in.
The user has been created in htpasswd.user file and I am able to log in with it, I just don`t know where and how to configure the right permission.
Could not find any information about this in the official documentation.
Could someone give me an advice or recommend an article where the process is described?
