URL to specific map with CoreAuthModIcingaweb2

  • Hi,

I am using Nagvis1.9 with the CoreAuthModIcingaweb2/CoreAuthorisationModIcingaweb2 to use the authentication cookie obtained on the logon to Icingaweb2. That works fine.

I set a default map, and that is being shown when clicking on "Maps". Switching between maps requires "Show Menu" and "Open"-> on the specific map.

While that is fine, for demonstration purposes or in demonstrations I would like to link directly to a specific Map-URL. Login to Icingaweb2 will still be required, but I would expect the Login-Dialog to be shown, and once valid credential have been obtained the map should be shown.

If that doesn't work, I suppose logging on first to obtain the credentials which in my experience are kept in a cookie for the entire browser session, and subsequent manual calling of the Map-URL would be ok, too.

Is that possible and how do have to configure that?

I have kept the redirect rewrites in /etc/nagvis/apache2.conf, but they seem not to work.

    Code
    1. # Redirect old regular map links
    2. RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/nagvis/frontend/(wui|nagvis-js)
    3. RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} map=(.*)
    4. RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /nagvis/frontend/nagvis-js/index.php?mod=Map&act=view&show=%1 [R=301,L]

The browser-URL always only shows "https://dnssec-monitoring.srv.lrz.de/icingaweb2/nagvis/show/map?showMenu=1" irrespective of the map shown.

    https://dnssec-monitoring.srv.…s/show/map?showMap=DNSSEC

is a valid URL, but only gives me the default map again.

What is the valid URL of a specific map and can it be opened directly which a default map configuration?

    Best regards,

    Sven Duscha
