    Thread
Hi All, Was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with the need to convert check return values that were returned by a 'check' command? E.g I have an A/C and I can grab the TEMPERATURE via check_snmp. However, the thing returns a value that is x10 too…

You'll only need to have one way in place. If the satellite can't connect to the master, configure the endpoint objects over there accordingly. I've added a section to the docs on that a while back: docs.icinga.org/icinga2/latest…ints-connection-direction

zones.conf on the satellite? I suspect that the master endpoint over there has the "host" attribute set, which would make the satellite try to connect to the master.

If you don't like to put away your daemon into foreground, you can go for the API event streams as an alternative - that way you're just attaching to a check result flow and won't harm the core from running when pressing CRTL+C later on.

Hi, thanks for your hint. I solved it with "icinga2 daemon -x debug" ... works for me very good because i can directly see the proceed "check-now" command which i sent from master to satellite.
