    assuming mysql is runnig ant the database is correctly setup.
    This error means user and/or password is wrong.
    I suggest try to access the DB on commandline.

    BTW If you simply copied the installation from the documentation your database/user/password…

    As dnsmichi said you can put this in the service definition, but if you want different thresholds for the same service on different hosts, you can put it in the host definition.
